About
NW Wine Company was founded in 2003 by Laurent Montalieu, Danielle Andrus, John Niemeyer and Jeff Meader as one of the Willamette Valley’s first custom crush facilities.
It is a vertically integrated asset-based winery with over 500 acres of planted vineyard. All acreage is managed in house throughout the Willamette Valley and spans across four sub AVAs (Yamhill-Carlton, McMinnville, Dundee Hills and Ribbon Ridge).
The custom-crush facility started out as an incubator for boutique, small production wineries, and under Montalieu’s guidance, NW has grown its services to include custom brands, estate owned brands and custom winemaking services. It has done so by investing in the land that grows its vines and through the constant pursuit of crafting wines that show their unique sense of place.
